The perfect Spring Day

Foster and I had the most perfect Spring Day on Monday.  We spent the morning or should I say 3 1/2 hours at a park with friends and had a picnic lunch.  We were the first ones there and the last ones to leave.  That boy loves a park more than anyone I know!  We then came home and made sand art. Then we finished up this perfect day with a batch of cupcakes!!  I don't think the day could have been any better!  Oh and by the way this little 3 year old boy can do the monkey bars like a champ.  People at the park kept asking me how old he was.  They couldn't get over that he was 3 and could do them.  He is a very determined child and wouldn't stop until he made it all the way across.  Now that is his most favorite thing to do at a park!  I love our special time!!

Atlanta Zoo/ Eric's 1/2 Marathon in Atlanta

A couple weeks ago Eric ran in another 1/2 in Atlanta with his friend Brian.  We just had the best weekend.  We went down on Sat and had a great dinner and spent the night with Brian and his Wife Keenan and their children.  We figured it would be better to already be down there since the guys had to be there super early in the morning.  We really had a great night visiting with them.  The guys did amazing at the 1/2.  Again, I am not sure of the time but I will insert later so it can be printed in my blog book.  However Eric was super pleased with his time considering Atlanta has lots of hills as oppose to Albany which is all flat.  He did better here in Atl than he did in Albany.  So needless to say we were pretty proud of him!  After the race we went to Martha Jane's and Ben's to get showered and cleaned up. We headed out to lunch and then hit the Zoo.  Our membership expires in April so we thought it would be a great time to go for our last time of the year.  It ended up being the perfect Zoo day!  The animals were all out and about and the weather was absolutely perfect!  We even got to spend a little time after the zoo with Martha Jane and Ben.  Which is always a plus!!
*I have pics of race on my phone but I will add those later once I download them.. BTW is why I hate taking pics with my phone!  I hardly do but left my camera in the car at the race...

This Love....

This boy LOVES his kitten.  I mean, I have never seen anything like it.  As soon as he walks in the door every time we come home the first thing he does is go and find Mistletoe.  He absolutely loves him and doesn't leave him alone.  His poor little arms, legs, and chest stays covered in little scratches.  Sweet Boy!!

Eric and Brad's Half Marathon

Eric and his dad ran the Albany's 1/2 marathon again this year.  Pam and I went down for the weekend as well to cheer them on.  They both did Awesome!!  Eric's dad who is 60 did phenomenal and beat Eric.  However, Eric was very pleased with his time as he beat his goal.  They both trained hard for it and did great.  It is a great thing for them to be able to do together!  I am not sure of the exact times but will update that later on here.  We also enjoyed our weekend away without the kiddos.  It was very relaxing and nice to be able to visit with Pam and Brad without any interruptions, which never happens! Ha

Praise Town- Celebration Academy

Foster had to dress up as a community helper for Praise Town.  We dug through the dress up basket and had several things to choose from.  He chose to be a policeman.  He was absolutely adorable.  He said that he had a lot of fun at school this day!
