Foster 18 months

On March 9th our baby turned 18 months! How in the world is this possible? He is growing up way to fast for our liking!! He is a little boy who knows what he wants and will pitch a fit unless he gets his way! He has a little temper and still sometimes when he gets so mad he will hold his breath! He has done this since he was 3 months old. Every time it scares me to death, still! He is really beginning to look more and more like Henry! He loves to play with his big brothers more than anything! He is beginning to talk a whole lot. His words consist of Mo (Elmo), mommy, daddy, bubba, cup, truck, pa pa (paci), baba (blanket), uh oh, woah, no, baby, look, pease (please), tanku (thank you), cookie, pop, ma ( grandma), gnan ( gran jan), poopie, bath. This is all I can think of there may be a few others that I can't think of now. He totally understands everything you say! He is really into his blankets and pacifiers. He is still a wonderful sleeper! Goes to bed at 6:15 and sleeps until 7:15. He takes a 2 hour nap a day. I couldn't ask for a better baby! He is my child that I can't leave alone for one minute! He gets into everything! He loves pulling things out of cabinets, drawers, etc. he loves to climb onto everything. I've caught him several times on my kitchen table, toilet to name a few. He is so wild and so darn cute! We have truly been entertained by this little guy! We love him to pieces and can't imagine our lives with out him in it!

His 18 month old stats:

Weight- 26.7- 57%

Height- 34.25- 93%

HC- 19.25- 79%

Family time at Grandma and Granddaddy's

A couple of weekends ago, Eric's grandparents from Virginia were here visiting with Pam and Brad. We went to their house on Friday night for dinner. We enjoyed seeing them and spending some time together. We had a dance party in the basement followed by some ping pong! We are going to Virginia in a couple of weeks so we are going to spend some more time with them and for sure take more pictures!

Fuzzy but still precious!

These were taken the other night at Henry's soccer practice. Foster grabbed Walker's hand and Walker happily followed him wherever he wanted to go! When I say these two adore each other, I mean it! It is the sweetest relationship I've ever seen! I honestly love how these two love each other! It sure does make this mama's heart melt!!! ( I have no idea what was wrong with my camera but the quality of these pictures are awful!!!).

Soccer practice

Henry is playing soccer again this spring! This is by far his favorite sport! We had a short break in between basketball and spring sports! We are back into it full swing with Soccer, and Walk playing baseball! I love having "bleacher butt"!

Writer's Tea

Each 9 weeks each teacher picks a boy and girl from their class to read a story they wrote at the Writer's Tea. Henry was chosen this past 9 weeks. The story he wrote was about when he grows up he wants to be a Zoologist. It was a wonderful story, and so well written! We are so proud of him! Also his teacher selected this story to be entered into the Young Georgia Writers. Henry won 3rd place! We couldn't be more proud!!!

"Uh Oh"

I was in my bedroom just picking up and I heard a loud crash.... Ran into my closet and had to pull little man out from under. Poor thing was playing in my jewelry and ended up pulling the whole thing down on top of him. It was pretty scary for him and I both. Thankfully he walked away with only a cut on the hand and a knot on the head. This child is seriously into everything!!!

Glimpse of doctor visit with all 3 boys....

Needless to say its crazy when you have to wait in doctor office with all 3 boys.... Foster is notorious for opening the door and running down the halls.....I think that this may help in letting them know we are still waiting.....hehe

WWE Wresteling

Granddaddy had a big surprise for the boys the Saturday night we were in Albany. It just so happened that the weekend we were there for the half marathon WWE were there on Sat night. He called us during the week to ask us if we would let them go. Eric and I both had to really think about it because we were not sure if the boys were to young and were not sure of the language, etc. Brad called and talked to a lady there in ticket office and she reassured him that there would be a ton of kids their ages. We decided to give it a shot. We were very happy that we made the decision to go. It was totally fine and there wasn't one bad word said. I think when their shows are live on TV it is more for an older crowd. The boys had a blast! As you all know Henry loves WWE. He has about 13 or so wrestlers that he plays with daily. For the past year the wrestlers have been one of his most favorite thing to play with. He was a little scared at first because he was afraid that the wrestlers were going to come up into the crowd. We assured him that they wouldn't. Once he got over that he enjoyed the show so much. Each boy bought a wrestling necklace and couldn't wait to wear them to school the next Monday to show it off. Granddaddy bought us tickets and got awesome seats. We were almost on the floor. We were second row back in the stands. It was a great night and boys will have a wonderful memory. ( I put lots of pics of wrestlers because when Henry looks back that is what he is going to want to see). Thanks Granddaddy!!!

Weekend in Albany- Half Marathon

The first weekend in March we headed down to Eric's parents house in Albany. Eric and his dad signed up for the half marathon months ago. Eric started training in January. This was his first half marathon, and I think his dad's 4th or so. Eric did really good training and was prepared for the big day. Of course his dad had training he did also. However his dad runs consistently throughout the year, which makes a big difference. Eric runs here and there but nothing consistent until hopefully now he has the bug.

The morning of the run it starts raining and radar shows that it's not going to stop. The race started at 7:00. They ran the first 2 miles in a downpour then the rain stopped until the very end of the race luckily. Pam, boys and I arrived to the race around 8. The boys got to play at turtle park for a little bit before we walked down to the finish line to wait for Brad and Eric. Turtle park is such a beautiful place and it has such gorgeous scenery which you can see in some of the pictures below. Brad finished with an outstanding time of 1:51 and he won 2nd place in his age group. Keep in mind he is 58 years old! We are especially proud of him! Eric finished a little behind his dad at 2:08 and got 30th place out of 60 people in his age group. He wanted to run under 2 hours but did a fabulous job anyways! We all we very excited and proud of them! They have plans of doing another one together next year! We had such a wonderful time in Albany and granddad surprised boys with a special treat on Sat night.... I'm doing a separate post on this so stay tuned!

After race we were all wet and cold. Boys came home and wanted to take a bubble bath in grand,a and granddaddy's jetted tub.... One of their favorite things to do at their house!
