 I love this kid!!!

Walkerstarted off his birthday day with a morning outing with Granddaddy. Granddaddy and Walker went to Waffle House for breakfast and then went shopping to buy him a present. It was a real special time with Granddaddy. He ended up wanting to go to GameStop to buy a new Wii game. He had a blast spending the morning with him. They got home around lunch time and then we headed put. We took him to McDonalds for lunch and made our way to the roller skating rink. It was Walkers day and he got to do whatever he wanted. We all had a blast skating. It was our first time as a family ever going. It has been probably over 20 years since I had stepped foot into a roller skate rink. It really brought back some childhood memories for me. We all had a great time. We left here and went to Grandma's and Granddaddy's for dinner and cake. They had family in town from Virginia so we went over there to visit. It was a great day and Walker had the best Birthday!

Walker's 8th Birthday- December 30th 2011 A letter from "Mama"

 Walker-

I can't believe that you are 8 years old now! You have truly been such a gift to me and your dad. Our lives changed so much 8 years ago... We met our precious first born child, you. We became parents for the very first time and you changed us forever! We could not have asked for a better baby, child, young boy that you were and are now. You have always been the easiest child I know. You are so very laid back and easy going, you get these traits from your mama! You are also very brilliant and it just comes naturally to you, this my son you get from your dad! You really enjoy playing outside, with friends, and you are really becoming competitive with the sports you play. Right now your most favorite sport is basketball and you are dying to play real football in the fall! You enjoy watching any kind of T.V. And you love all Harry Potter movies! One thing that you want to do everyday when you get home from school is jump on the trampoline! You are becoming a really good eater and you like to eat a whole lot these days! I'm assuming out of brotherly love you really love to aggravate your younger brother Henry. You two have your moments for sure but you also love playing together as well! You are super in love with your baby brother Foster! You just can't seem to get enough of him! Thank you so much for giving your dad and I the best 8 years of our lives! We are so proud of the boy that you are and have become! We look forward to many, many more wonderful years spent with you, our Walker! We love you!

Christmas 2011

Man oh Man we had the best Christmas morning ever! We had 3 very cute and excited boys! Walker and Henry got up around 7:30. They ran into our room and woke us up and was so anxious to get downstairs. They couldn't believe all that they had gotten and were in shock. The biggest thing they asked for was a trampoline. After about an hour of playing with their Santa I asked them if there was anything g that they really wanted that Santa didn't bring. They both said a trampoline and Henry decided to look out the door finally. He looked at Walker and said, "Walker your not going to believe it but Santa actually did bring us a trampoline". Walker then told Henry that he didn't believe him. Walker had to take a look for himself and they both took off running. It was really the cutest thing ever. They both told us repeatedly that this was the best Christmas ever! That just made us so happy.

Santa was pretty good to me as well! He surprised me with an iPad. I have been wanting a laptop for some time. Eric really had my best interest in mind and made sure Santa got me an iPad!!! I am so in love with it!!! The best thing a got was my mothers rings! Eric has known for quite some time that I have been wanting them! He sent me on a scavenger hunt to find them and each one was hung over the boys portraits. They unfortunately didn't fit some are still waiting to get them back. Once I do I will post a picture! As always Eric and I say that we are only going to get each other 1 small thing. I always stick to this but he does not. Therefore he got a UVA coffee mug and a UVA t-shirt.... Nothing to brag about...lol

Henry's loot- webkinz, animals, t-shirts, harrynpotter wand, electric guitar, movie, phiten necklace, wrestling men and football mat with players.

Walker's loot- bey blade arena, hat, t-shirts, 8 disc Harry potter DVD set, Qwirkle board game, electric drumsticks, watch, just dance 3 Xbox game, movie, shoes, and inside basketball goal.

Foster's loot- cookie monster, laptop, sippy cups, paci's, crayons, bathtub crayons, coloring book, Elmo phone, bib, old McDonald spin toy, stacking cups, and rocking horse.

The boys had to do a redo coming down the stairs with Foster... He was more interested with sleeping in Christmas morning!

Me finding my precious rings! I was super duper excited!!!

After we had our Christmas morning at our house we all got ready to head over to Granddaddy's and Grandma's house. Several months ago they bought a house here about 15 minutes from our house. They still live in Albany but are here just about every weekend. It was ally. Ice to have to drive down the road to celebrate with them. We had a lot of fun! The boys biggest gift from them was Disney back in November. That was the best gift they could have gotten! Of course they just had to get them a few other parents for them to open on Christmas! I think their favorite was Nerf guns! Foster got a kitchen and he loves it! It is the cutest kitchen ever! Eric and I got spoiled as well! I got a robe, a pair of wallabees ( which I have wanted for quite sometime), a Starbucks gift card, and some money! Eric got a watch and some money. We had the best Christmas and enjoyed spending it with them!
