Simply Sweet

The next Tony Hawk

Henry has lately taken an interest in skateboarding.  He is wanting to learn some tricks.  His dad is bringing out some tricks that he used to do as a kid.  Henry's new trick that he is learning is the ollie.  He thinks that he is so cool and so do I.

Zoo Atlanta

A couple of Sunday's ago we went to the Atlanta Zoo and Aunt Martha Jane met us there.  We met at her house (she lives so close), dropped of Foster and she strolled him there to meet us.  It was the perfect day outside to visit the zoo.  We all had so much fun!  Aunt Martha Jane loved carrying Foster around in my Ergo, and he loved it as well.  As you can see from the picture below.  We have a season pass, thanks to Aunt MJ so we look forward to making many trips there this year!

I love how mama gorillas take care of their babies.  A lot like the way we care for our babies.  I could sit and watch them all day.  They amaze me!

My Pirates

A couple of weeks ago, Walker's school had Disney night.  The kids could dress up as Disney characters and come for a night of food, games, and visit with some Disney Characters.  Eric took Waker and Henry, while I stayed home with Foster.  The boys had a great time!  I thought they were some of the cutest pirates I had ever seen.  I was really diggin Walker's beard.....I like a little scruffy!

Not sure what this pose is but he does it quite often, must be something from 1st grade.  I love the boy in him!

He loves her!

Foster seriously loves Georgia.  He laughs at her all the time.  Whenever he see's her he really lights up!  He can't stop laughing, moving, and squealing.  It is really the cutest thing I think I've ever seen.  The other night I was able to snap a few photos of them two together!  I wish they would have been clearer but oh well.  Georgia- you better watch out because soon he is going to be coming after you girlfriend!

Living room turns into playroom daily

These pictures were taken on two different days.  My living room turns into a playroom most afternoons.  Henry still loves playing with his animals.  He gets them out just about everyday.  He loves lining them up, pretending they are in a zoo, they are in a circus, they are out in the wild, and he pretends he is an animal rescuer.  For some reason, he loves bringing his toys from the playroom into the den.  It used to bother me a little but I am used to it now.  He plays so well in the living room so that is what I let him do.  He has such an imagination, we love it!

A quick visit from Carrie

My dear friend, Carrie, came to visit us a couple of weeks ago.  She was in the area and stopped by for the afternoon and for dinner.  We enjoyed spending time with her in the afternoon!  The boys LOVED her.  She sat in the floor with them for an hour playing legos.  It was such a fun afternoon.  I sure wish we lived closer.  She lives in Columbia.

Brothers

Man, I love these boys with all my heart!

Boosterthon Fun Run

Walker's school did an amazing fundraiser a few weeks ago.  They did the boosterthon fun run. The kids had to run laps around the gym.  You had to get pledges from friends and family.  Whatever the amount pledged you had to pay that amount per lap that the child ran.  Walker ended up raising 350 dollars.  He ran all 35 laps and enjoyed every second of it.  Thanks for those of you who pledged, the school went over their goal!
