Auntie Martha Jane's first visit with Foster

Auntie Martha Jane in Lake Tahoe anxiously awaiting the arrival of Foster!  She sent her love from far away! Even though she wasn't with us it sure felt like she was with all of the texts, calls, and pictures we had going back and forth!  This picture is soooo sweet!

Little man tanning with Auntie Martha Jane

Auntie Martha Jane was out of town to Lake Tahoe (for a wedding) when Foster was born.  She was soooo upset that she couldn't be here for his birth.  She was updated minute by minute the day he was born with the progress.  She was truly a nut case!  When she got back from Tahoe she immediately came by to see him and fell in love!  I think he fell in love with her by the looks of these pictures!  She then left to go to Cincinnati the following day, came back for like 2 days and then left for Miami for a week!  She has been one busy woman these past few weeks.  She is back in town now and is coming over this week to cook us dinner and love on this baby!  We are looking forward to spending some time with her!!!  We love you Auntie Martha Jane!
* Foster had issues with Jaundice for the first week he was home so we had to keep him tanning and thank goodness he got better!  So that is why these pictures are of him laying in the sun!

First Sunday Lunch with Foster

The day after we came home from the hospital we went to eat at Mason and Kim's.  Mama cooked us a big lunch over there.  It was good to get out a little bit. Mama made ribs, green beans, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes.  It was absolutely delicious.  Of course we are all still so in love with Foster!

Opening Day for Baseball and Soccer

These pictures were taken on the day we came home from the hospital.  On that Saturday, September the 11th was opening day for Soccer and Baseball.  Both boys had their pictures taken, and Henry had his first soccer game, and we came home from the hospital all on this day.  Eric is Henry's coach so we got discharged from the hospital and headed straight to the fields so that Eric could hop into the picture for Henry's team.  Foster and I stayed in the car.  If you look at Henry's team picture you can still see that Eric has on his little hospital band.  This is something that we will never forget.  I guess with your third you just have to do what you have to do.  So on the day we brought Foster home from the hospital we had to stop at the ball fields before we could go home.  This is just the beginning of our life with 3 boys!  Priceless!

INK with Pop and Gran Jan

The Friday after we had Foster, Pop and Gran Jan took Mac and Henry to the children's museum.  It is really close to the hospital and it was great for Henry to get away and have some fun!  He always has a blast at Ink.  Henry and Mac are one of a kind!

Day 3- September 11, 2010- Coming Home from the Hospital

Our sweet neighbor Becky had made signs welcoming us home and hung balloons on the bridge!  It was such a sweet sweet way to enter our neighborhood with our new addition!  Thanks Becky you are wonderful!

Our Family of 5

Angel Baby!  My mom smocked this outfit for her first grandchild (Walker).  We did not find out with Walker what we were having so it is a day gown that could go either way.  All of my boys have worn this home from the hospital!  Hopefully all of my grandchildren will wear the same outfit home!

We came home on game day!  Carolina vs Georgia...we had all of the boys including Foster (you can't see his little outfit), decked out in their Carolina gear.  I think that they all brought the gamecocks good luck as we defeated Georgia!!

My sweet sweet nephew JL.  This is a precious story.  He had earned enough stickers to go get something out of the treasure box at school on the Friday after Foster was born.  He picked out this little bear that says Happy Birthday and wanted to give it to Foster.  Such a precious soul to think about his new little cousin instead of himself.  I will treasure this little bear forever!  It sleeps in the bassinet with Foster.  Thanks JL you are a wonderful big cousin!
