Walker at Soccer Camp

This past week Walker had soccer camp. He loved it! The camp was Mon-Friday 9 until 10:30. He is also going to play soccer this fall. The camp was run through Jackson County but they hire coaches from Eurotech Soccer Camp and Tours. They are the Number 1 soccer camp in the world. His coach for the week was "Arnie" and he was from Belgium. The other coach was from Brazil. They are only here in the US for the summer. They travel all over from week to week to do these camps. They both play or have played semi-pro. Interesting, they do not get payed to do this. They do it because they want to come to the US and travel around the states. They do have their housing, expenses, and travel free. Pretty neat! Walker did enjoy it alot but still says that Golf is his favorite sport so far!

Henry thinks he was at soccer camp too!!

Superman playing Soccer

Henry love going to soccer camp with his brother. Every morning he would have to grab his soccer ball and take it with him. He has to do everything like his big brother. The coach loved him to death! The coach even signed his ball and they even gave him a ball the last day like they gave the rest of the kids! They really made him feel like he was a part of it! Everyday when Eric got home from work he would ask Walker if he had fun at soccer camp, and Henry would say, "Me, fun". So Eric learned quickly that he had to everyday ask Henry if he had fun too!

Golf Tournament

Sorry for such the late post. Here are a few pictures that I took at Eric's golf tournament a couple of weeks ago. We had a wonderful time! Eric played Thursday and Friday but did not make the cut for Sat and Sun. However, he was not too disappointed! He says that he is glad that he was even able to qualify for the tournament considering that he plays golf like once a month. He is glad that he can still be competitive without practicing. Hopefully next year he will qualify again and we will be able to go to the tournament. It really was a good time for the two of us. Eric's mom and dad were there also. I sure did get my exercise for the 2 days that he played. We had to walk the whole 18 holes the the two days! It wasn't a flat course either, very very hilly!!!

Albany Summer Trip

For the past few years we go down to Albany Georgia to spend a few days with Eric's parents (Grandma and Granddaddy). We always have so much fun! We always go down to Valdosta Georgia and go to Wild Adventures Theme Park. We go to the water park one day and spend the night and get up the next morning and go to the rest of the park the next day. Unfortunately this year Walker, Henry and I all got the stomach bug while we were down there. It didn't slow us down to much we were still able to do everything that we had planned. The boys absolutely love going to the park! The rest of the time while we are in Albany we just relax and do what ever the boys want to do! It has become a family tradition for our family! We can't wait until next year! Hopefully everyone will be healthy!

First Annual POPsicle Sale

The first of July my aunt "WeWe" had the First annual POPsicle sale in honor of her husband Steve Owens (Pop) which the grandkids called him. He passed away this past November. In honor of him on his birthday she had this sale at my grandma's house in her front yard. We were saleing sugar free popsicles. All of the proceeds were going to the American Diabetes Association. She ended up raising 3,000 dollars! It was an awesome day and we really enjoyed celebrating his birthday this way! We miss you Uncle Steve! We already have the date on our calander for next year!

Unbelieveable sky

These pictures were taken the same night. We were inside and the lighting outside was so eerie. We steped outside and the first picture is what we saw. It was the prettiest rainbow I have ever seen in my life. It was huge! The second picture was taken later that evening. It was so beautiful! Eric and I sat out on our front porch that evening and just watched the sky change colors. It was amazing

Spend the Night Party

Walker and John Lawrence had a spend the night party at our house a few weeks ago. They had a ball and were so cute. They asked me if they could stay up really late and do fireworks. Luckily, I had some sparklers and they each probably did like 20. They had so much fun and thought they were so big!

The Golfing Pangles

As you all know golf is a big thing in the Pangle family. Recently, Eric and his mom have been playing in some tournaments. Eric played in a qualifier for the Georgia State Amateur. He shot a 74 and qualified for the tournament which is July 10-13th. He is very excited to be playing some competitive golf for the first time in 7 years. My parents are getting the boys so I can go down to Macon with him to watch the tournament. Also, Eric's mom played in the Albany Amateur tournament a few weeks ago and finished in first place in her flight. She was very excited and we all are very proud of her. Finally, as you can see below Walker has been practicing on his swing in the backyard. Is he destined to follow in the footsteps of his Dad and Grandma? By the way if you want to see how Eric is doing at the tournament, the scores will be posted each day on www.gsga.org

Pam Pangle cruised past the defending champion Becky Yager to win the women’s first flight after carding a 97 in the opening round. Pangle shot an 81 on Sunday to win her first title in only her second year in the tournament. Yager finished second eight strokes behind Pangle, while Day 1 leader Olivia Flanagan ended up nine strokes behind.
“I knew if I could put some good shots together, I had an opportunity,” Pangle said. “Knowing the talent I was up against, it means a lot to win it.”

Mommie's Boys!

Henry's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Henry's 2nd Birthday party on June 21st. His theme was a construction party! He loves trucks so that is why we had that kind of party. We had the party at our house in the backyard and the kids had a ball playing! Henry got some really cool birthday gifts! Eric and I got him a little pool for the back yard. Sometimes we just want to stay at our house and not go to the neighborhood pool. Here in Georgia it is almost impossible to be outside with out water around! He is definitely our little fish! My parents got him a really cool see saw. It is in the shape of an airplane (as you can see in the pics) and it holds 7 people. The kids had a ball playing on that! Eric's parents got him his own little truck! He absolutely loved it! Walker and him have been sharing a jeep but now Henry thinks he is cool with his own truck. He looks like such a redneck in it! It is too cute! We got lots and lots of outside toys. He also got his very own baseball uniform like his brothers! He really had a great time and I was excited to get some new toys myself! I really can't believe my baby is 2. Time really flies!

Henry, Walker, and Logan

My best friend Mendy and her son Logan came down the Friday night before Henry's 2nd Birthday party so we could have time to let the kids play together. They live in Charlotte and it is hard to get the kids together to play as much as we like. However, Mendy and I get together more often to do our girl thing! We sure wish we lived much closer! Logan was 2 in March and Henry was 2 in June. They really had a great time playing together and were so darn cute!!!
