Memorial Day Weekend Activities

We went to Home Depot over the weekend to get a few supplies we needed to do a little yard project. We are in the process of making an area around our swingset, sandbox, and playhouse. Henry didn't want to be in the stroller, so I got him out so he could walk with his brother. Then, Walker wanted to get in the stroller so then Henry had to get in the stroller too. They both had so much fun in the stroller together. Who really takes their camera to Home Depot? Well, I didn't originally have it with me but it was in the car. They were too cute that I couldn't help but go to the car to get it.

Walker helping Daddy unload the car with 15 pieces of wood timber. However, about 20 minutes after this Walker started running a fever and was on the couch the rest of the day. Bless his heart he was miserable on Memorial Day. I am just glad it was the end of the weekend instead of the beginning. He woke up this morning feeling great. I guess he just had a 24 hour bug. He is such a good helper!

This was on Memorial day and Henry had just woken up from a nap. We went outside since Bubba was sleeping on the couch and not feeling so well. I just thought this look was too cute. You all know that I love all my boys in ball caps! I love the hair coming out of the back of the hat! I absolutely love his long hair.

Just sitting on his truck thinking about who know what!

We went to our neighborhood pool on Saturday! We really had a great time. I actually sat in the chair and layed out most of the time. Eric is just like a kid and loves to play in the water. I am looking forward to spending many days there this summer!

First Day At Pool This Summer!

Today we went to John Lawrence and Mac's pool. We had so much fun! It was a much better experience this year than last year. Last year Henry wanted to run around the pool and do everything but get in the water. He actually enjoyed it this year. Walker was a little hesitant at first but then he really started to swim and have a great time. Kim and I actually got to sit down a good bit and just watch the kids! It was awesome. Our pool opens this weekend so I am sure we will be posting more pool pictures over the weekend. Sorry there are no pictures of little Mac but he slept at first and then it was just too hard to get one of all 4.

Our First Little Garden

This year we decided that we would try a little garden. I couldn't get everything in the picture, but we have tomato's, bell peppers, cucumbers, and Walker's watermelon. My tomato's are delicious! They taste like they came right out of my papa's garden! There is truly nothing better than a home grown tomato on a piece of white bread with a little mayo! I really could eat one every day! We will definitely do this every year and hopefully be able to expand it.

New way to play with sidewalk chalk

Walker wanted to color his face and hands with blue sidewalk chalk so he could be a vampire! I love the imagination!

Double Trouble!

This afternoon Mac and John Lawrence came over to play! We had a great time. We told Henry and Mac that the Jeep was broken. Henry proceeded to pull the jeep out of the garage and they were determined to ride it! Too cute

Boys feeding Cows

This past Friday we spent the day with my childhood best friend Tiffany. We had a ball at her house. She has 2 little boys Allen and Alex. They have several cows and a donkey named "Jake". We were able to feed the cows apples. The boys had a ball until Henry stepped into a fire ant bed. Good thing it happened at the end of the day! Great time had by all.

Walker reading to Henry

The other morning we were at Pop and Gran Jan's and I was in the bathroom getting ready. I heard them singing Old MacDonald and I peeped around the corner and this was what I saw! Walker was reading the book to his little brother. It was such a sweet moment. They didn't even know I took a picture!

Power Ranger

Looks Like Red Power Ranger can get Daddy!

What Walker thinks about Mom....

Wow you have to love the mind of a 4 year old!!!

Baseball

Sorry I messed up. I wanted these 2 pics to be at the bottom of the page but I can't figure it out. Oh well, these pics are of Henry at his game and then one at his party. He can't wait to play ball too!

Walker just finished up his baseball season for the spring. He absolutely loves baseball. He also played in the fall and it was amazing the difference in him this spring. He did an awesome job and we were so proud of him. Their last game was this past Saturday and afterwards we had a party at the coach's house. Could you imagine coaching this team? The leauge director told all of the coach's for this age group that it is like herding cats. That statement is so true. They really are so cute to watch! Needless to say mom and dad are kinda glad that the season is over considering the games were every Saturday morning at 8:20. Whew that is early for the Pangles, especially when we had to leave the house dressed and ready by 7:30.

Playday!

Wild!!!!!

Best Friends!

Walker and John Lawrence at a park last week.

Looks like a Pro

This was a couple of weeks ago. Daddy took Walker to the par 3 at Chateau Elan. It was a special treat for him and also one for mommy because I stayed at home with Henry and napped (which doesn't happen often these days).

Leader of the Pack

John Lawrence and Mac were over one afternoon. Henry thought it would be cool for them to go check out the neighbor's yard. He is making sure everyone is following him. He is a handful!

Chris Farley?

How can you say no to this?

Henry is so easy to put down for bedtime. Usually all you do is turn is music on and lay him in the crib. However I do enjoy rocking him at times because he is still my baby! This particular night I put him down like I usually do and walked out of his room. I let him cry for about 5 minutes and I walked back in there and this is what I saw. I had to go get the camera immediately b/c it was the most precious thing I have seen. So what did I do? I rocked him until he fell asleep and held him and kissed every inch of his body!

Easter

Are they hansome or what? Walker did not think so. I am sure he will tell you all about it if you ask him. He refused to go into his Sunday School class this morning, the reason being because he did not like his clothes. I think I am in for something if he is already concerned about what he wears at 4. I don't make him dress like this often at all, however mommy did think he was so handsome.

Grandma and Granddaddy got to be with us on Easter, we had a great weekend. I thought these were great pics of the boys with their Grandma and Grandaddy.

Mad?

This was at a Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood. By the looks of these I am beginning to think Easter isn't his favorite Holiday!
